Here I have researched popular names for boys and girls from 1998 as my cast are in the age range of 17 to 18. I have decided on using  the name Jack for the male and  the names Emily for the female that is in my movie

Inspirational Trailers and Movies

Here i have included a few examples of trailers and movies that i have got inspiration and ideas from.



The first clip is of the 2007 movie Shrooms which a horror film about a group of american students and their Irish Guide who are stalked by a serial killer while out in the woods looking for magic Mushrooms.



The second clip is of the upcoming movie The Forest which is a horror film about when her twin sister disappears in Japan, a young American named Sara becomes determined to find out what happened to her. Sara's investigation leads her to the legendary Aokigahara Forest, located at the base of Mount Fuji. Accompanied by expatriate Aidan, she enters the mysterious wilderness after being warned to "stay on the path." Her investigation plunges her into a dark world where the angry and tormented souls of the dead prey on those who dare to explore the forest.

 Here you can clearly see that my target audience is a girl aged from 18-24 even though looking at my target audience questionnaire the majority of them where in the age bracket of 16-18 i have upped the age bracket to 18-24. You can also see that she is still in university  doing entertainment, advertisement or media and has less than £125 monthly spare.

My ideal readers favourite dishes are chips, a fry and wraps and her hobbies include playing board games, buying and selling online and drawing. My ideal reader's favourite sports are swimming and basketball and has a interest in television, music and video games. Her niche interests are watching movies at home, watching TV, using the Internet, listening to music and watching live music and is most likely to have a pet cat.

My ideal reader describes themselves as funny, cleaver and easy-going.

My ideal reader is a customer of Nintendo, Cineworld and Xbox and shops at Asda and using Ann Summers, River Island and NewLook.

My ideal reader favourite movies are The Matrix, Wall-E, Indiana Jones, The Bourne Identity and Jurassic Park. Her favourite TV shows are The Big Bang Theory, Friends, Breaking Bad, Mock The Week and Futurma. My ideal reader favourite music artist are Cheryl Cole, Katy Perry, Snow Patrol, Lana Del Ray and Robbie Williams and her favourite celebrities are Simon Cowell, Alan Carr, Michael McIntyre, Russell Howard and Jonathan Ross.

 My ideal reader's top twitter followers are Miley Cyrus, Emma Watson, Jim Carrey, Edgar Wright and Katy Perry.

The ideal viewer's top facebook pages are H&M, YouGov and Star Wars.

The ideal reader spends 36-40 hours per week online, reads the Sun newspaper and Glamour magazine. The ideal reader watches TV for 1-5 hours per week and has watched The Simpsons,The Big Bang Theory, Celebrity Big Brother, Hollyoaks and Family Guy recently.

Inspiration for Movie Teaser Trailer

Here are a few things that i liked about The Gallows Teaser Trailer.

I liked that they changed the sky and the whole first two screens red which continues throughout the whole teaser trailer as the colour red is a connotation for blood or death which helps to get across the genre of the movie.

I like that in the middle of the teaser trailer they say what Blumhouse productions have already made which may incise more people to watch the film when it comes out in the cinema.

I like that throughout the teaser trailer they have included short reviews about the movie that they have received which would make more people want to go and watch the film when it comes out.

I like the that they have continued with the red filter throughout the whole teaser trailer which makes the viewers  interested in watching more of the film and also builds on the tension and atmosphere.
